💰$veSLNA

All fees goes to ve holders

In Solunea, liquidity providers obtain $SLNA incentives through emissions, while veSLNA holders collect swap fees from the gauges they support.

This design makes veSLNA the optimal system for earning returns by voting for gauges generating the highest swap fees. Gauges receiving more votes secure additional $SLNA rewards from emissions, making them more enticing to liquidity providers. Consequently, the more votes a gauge acquires, the larger the rewards distributed. This approach attracts higher total value locked (TVL) and deepens liquidity, reducing swap costs and drawing more swaps and fees, thereby increasing veSLNA returns.

veSLNA

Solunea is governed by veSLNA, which users obtain by locking SLNA tokens. The amount and duration of locked tokens determine the quantity of veSLNA received

1 SLNA locked for 4 years = 1 veSLNA

1 SLNA locked for 2 years= 0.5 veSLNA

1 SLNA locked for 1 year = 0.25 veSLNA

1 SLNA locked for 6 months= 0.125 veSLNA

Like Curve's ve system, veSLNA decays linearly over the locking period, fostering user engagement and governance over the platform. The ve(3,3) system offers users multiple benefits

  1. Maximize veSLNA and collecting fees from the most productive gauges.

  2. Provide liquidity and farming SLNA rewards.

  3. Collectively lock a high percentage of SLNA supply, reducing emissions and future total supply.

Getting veSLNA

Users can obtain SLNA tokens by:

  • Staking LP in gauges.

  • Locking SLNA tokens.

  • Receiving SLNA rewards from emissions (veSLNA lockers)

  • Buying SLNA in the market.

Benefits

In a nutshell, veSLNA provides the following benefits:

  1. vote and participate in Solunea protocol governance

  2. vote for gauges directing emissions to the gauges

  3. receive swap fees from the gauges they vote for

  4. about 30% rebase emission to anti dilute

  5. boosted rewards for liquidity providers

Vote Delay

SLNA features a one-week voting delay, meaning veSLNA users can only modify their votes after a week. This restriction ensures that veSLNA remains committed to the gauge until the next epoch, promoting stability in the voting process.
